Special thanks to Bernardo, who invites Tim, Linda, Gail, and me out to see a couple of shows for Fashion Week.

First stop is Bryant Park, to see the Costello Tagliapietra (who are two people) show.

I don't know thing one about fashion, but these chicks are really skinny.

And hey, if Debbie Mazar likes it, it has to be good.

From there, it's down to the Lower East Side to catch the Matt Damhave (who is one person) show.

They keep us waiting for a VERY long time...

...and the show itself is quite short - Linda, Gail, and Tim actually wind up missing the entire thing while standing in line for the bathroom.

So anyway, god bless Bernardo (and Tim!), without whom the majority of my spare time would be spent in dive bars, midtown pubs, or on the couch in front of the TV eating salt and vinegar chips and debating whether or not the dried mangoes from Zeytuna are any better than the ones from the Jubilee Market (Zeytuna's are a bit too fibrous, but are actual slices, as opposed to Jubilee's, which are more like shavings, and are a little too gummy for my tastes. But, Jubilee's don't add nearly as many chemicals as Zeytuna's, if the labels are to be believed. The jury is still out - comments?).
