Picnic in Prospect Park with Lana, Julia, Dagfinn, and Christina.

Nice day. Nice weekend.

Sunday, May 25, 2008

Up at Giants Stadium with Ellie, Megan, Robert, Dagfinn, and Lloyd to witness the Red Bulls suffer one of their worst losses in club history.

Better luck next weekend against Houston, a match I'm going to miss because I don't get the weird cable channel on which it's being televised.

Megan has never had a Vienna sausage before. In fact, Robert and I are the only ones who have even tried one. Is it a west coast thing? I was practically raised on these.

Needless to say, she didn't like them.

Just one of those incomprehensibly green days in Central Park today. Not usually one for flowers and such, but I couldn't resist. So here's me, getting all Masataka Nakano on your asses.

You know.

Podcaster's dinner, John's Pizzeria, Theater District.

Beautiful space (had never been there before), over a hundred guests taking over the entire top 1 1/2 tiers of the place.

And everyone waving "hi" to Chris H.

Big ups to Joe, Jimmy, and Charlito for all the hard work.

Project Haircut: the culmination. Jimmy cuts off his 20-year (!) ponytail for Locks of Love.

Final measurement: 16 inches!

Unemployed Skeletor does the honors.

Victory!

One last goodbye. Be brave, little one.

Final styling touchups; the face of courage.

We're proud of you, dude.

And yes, everyone LOVES the hat (thanks again, Ellie!)...

...even those among us who (gasp!) have never seen Star Wars (*coughSpanocough*).
