Prop 8 - Day of Decision rally, West Village to Union Square.
Starring Chris!
We start on Christopher St. next to Sheridan Square, cross over to 6th Ave, up to 14th, and over to Union Square.
Lots of people.
Just lots and lots of people.
Seriously, no end in sight to the crowd of people.
Lots and lots of people, I guess is the idea that I'm trying to convey here.
We run into Emily and Max at Union Square.
City Council Speaker (and personal hero) Christine Quinn.
If this is a cause that means anything to you, and you live in New York state (or know anyone - ANYONE - who does), it is so easy to get involved. There are many sites set up around the web that make it easier than you ever thought possible to get involved. Start with any/all of the following:
Marriage Equality New York (www.meny.us)
Broadway Impact (www.broadwayimpact.com)
New Yorkers for Marriage Equality (www.newyorkequality.com)
If you find any more, please leave a comment on this post, please share with all your friends, family, and co-workers, and please keep talking about it, wherever you are.
The New York senate will be voting next month, and public opinion polls are as close to a 50/50 split as many have ever seen. If you have an opinion, you need to say it, out loud and now.

Great photos. Our event in Long Beach, CA, brought out a lot of people. I just wish it had been for a celebration.
