New York Comic Con 2008, Jacob Javits Center.

The prerequisite, insanely-long line to get in. This is only because everyone shows up before the doors open, apparently -- a couple friends don't show up until about an hour, hour and a half later, and they're able to just walk right in.

Birds of Geek, Denise and Amy.

Ryan.

Ryan killing Spano.

Mitch.

The inimitable Vampire Cowboys theater troupe put on a few very cool stage-fighting demos.

Kaiyodo/Revoltech's new hentai...excuse me, "Fraulein" line.

Seeing their new Regult and YF-19 figures in person gets me all excited, though.

I keep wandering past their booth waiting for the (I think) inevitable "5 o'clock discount"; unfortunately, it is never to be.

Table full o' Heroclix.

Priscilla with Jim Butcher.

Battlestar Galactica panel, with surprise guests Michael Trucco (Sam Anders), Rekha Sharma (Tory Foster), and Michael Hogan (Saul Tigh).

Gypsy.

Straight outta Jersey, it's Unemployed Skeletor! Here with Kathleen...

...and Jimmy.

Edwina.

Kristen.

T.J.

Jeff.

Jay.

Jackson Publick and Doc Hammer on CNI - how cool is that? Urbaniak drops in later, too, while I'm in the middle of the screening of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, unfortunately (good movie, by the way).

Mike and Eileen.

CONN!!

Heroes action figures looking pretty keen.

Grunberg!

Enjoy the weather, guys -- next year it's back to February.

(Not pictured: Milo Ventimiglia, who apparently EVERYBODY sees/runs into but me; inappropriate Robin (one of several), and Jay and Grant from Ghost Hunters, whose hands I shake but whose pictures I do not take -- they look both lost and late.)

Tony was surprised, too. How am I the only one who knows about this?

Mike and I really need to stop being so inappropriate in public :)

I knew it was going back to February too. Do these people live under rocks?
